Scripture Reflection: "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ Jesus forgave you."--- Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)
Prompt:
Forgiveness is not forgetting what happened--it's choosing not to carry the weight anymore.
Take time to reflect on these questions:
Is there someone I need to forgive--even if they never apologize and make it right?
What emotions rise up when I think of this person or situation?
What has holding on to the hurt cost me--emotionally, spiritually, or physically?
Now turn inward:
Is there something I need to forgive myself for?
Have I truly received God's forgiveness, or do I still live with guilt or shame?
As you write, be honest and gentle with yourself. Forgiveness is a process, not a one-time event. You don't have to rush--but you can start.
Closing Reflection/Prayer:
"Lord, give me the strength to forgive, not because they deserve it, but because You forgave me. Heal my heart and help me release what I was never meant to carry."
