| "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I

| will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God."----Psalms 42:11 (NIV)

Prompt:

Take a quiet moment with God and ask yourself:

"Where in my life do I feel hopeless, stuck, or discouraged?"

Write freely and honestly--no filters, no pressure. Then, reflect on these questions:

  • What emotions come up when I think about this area in my life?

  • Have I tried to fix this on my own, or have I surrendered it to God?

  • What would it look like to invite God's hope into this situation?

  • Can I recall a time when God came through for me before?

Encouragement:

Write a short prayer, asking God to meet you in this place. End your journal entry by writing a declaration of faith, even if it's small: "I choose to hope again, even if I don't see the answer yet."
