"Forget the formal things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new

thing!"---Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)

Journal Prompt:

Is there something in your past that you're still holding on to--pain, guilt, disappointment, or fear?

Today, reflect on these things:

  • What am I carrying that no longer serves me or God's plan for my life?

  • In what areas do I need to release control and trust God?

  • How is holding on to this affecting my peace or spiritual growth?

  • What might God be asking me to surrender so He can do a "new thing"?

Action Step:

Write a letter to God, giving Him the weight you've been carrying. Ask Him to help you release it and walk forward in faith and freedom.

Declaration of Hope:

"God, I trust You with what I cannot change. I release the past and open my heart to new things You are doing in me."
